Reflections for Inspector Thomas J. Norton

Inspector Norton, it has been 109 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices that you and too many others have made for us. Thank you for your service.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 98th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Mom of fallen California Officer Larry Lasater, Pittsburg PD, eow 4/24/05

To take a man away from a wife and EIGHT children is simply beyond a sin. On this 94th anniversary of your murder at the hands of what wasn’t worth a pile of manure, I mourn your loss and give a little prayer for your family. Though I would venture a guess that none of those who were around when your murder occurred, I would guess that your descendants think of you with pride, as well they should. You are a hero and I truly believe that to this day you patrol the streets of Boston and give little words of encouragement and guidance into the ears of those who have come since that Friday in June of 1914.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

No officer should be without a reflection. I send this one to thank you for giving the ultimate sacrifice and for paving the way for the future for us to follow, on the thin blue line. Thank you.
