My father, Carlos Prado Sr. was a motorcycle officer with Mr. Myers. I hurt my dad deeply when Mr. Myers was killed in that wreck. He came home to tell my mother, and he broke down crying in her arms!

I remember Mr. Myers well. He was a really nice young man! El Paso truly lost an awfully good officer and human being! I hope his children are all well. They were so little back then. I have not seen them since the cookout in October of that same year that Mr. Myers passed away at the Academy on Scenic Drive.

God rest his soul. I am sure he and my dad have spent lots of time together since my dad joined him in 2014. Dad always missed him!
