Special Deputy Jackson was struck and killed by a vehicle while assisting at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on I-40 in Wake County. View all 17 ReflectionsIt's hard to believe it's been 17 years. I think of Michael a lot - we grew up together. If I close my eyes and listen, I can still hear his voice and his laugh that always made me smile.
Rest in peace sweet friend.
