Dicky was my roommate in college. He was an outstanding individual to be around. We had a lot of good times together. After we graduated from college, we always stayed in touch. I went off to Police Academy in Atlanta where I was employed with the Vidalia Police Dept. Dicky had gotten a job with the Ga State Patrol in Dublin as a radio operator. Almost every weekend he would come to Vidalia and spend the weekend so he could ride along with me. He was like a brother to me. When Dicky was accepted in trooper school, and finished the academy he was so happy. I was happy and proud of him. Receiving the call of his death I felt my heart had been ripped out. I will always remember you Dicky as a brother and one day we will meet again and share the memories of our past, in a land where time now holds no more
