He is my cousin and one of the few real heroes from my childhood. I wanted to be a police officer because of him. Unfortunately life spiraled downward for the next 20 years and that dream (as well as many others) never came to fruition. Even now amidst the great failure my life has been, I hope to find some solace and redemption as I remember the idealistic child I was and try to recover even now in the last stages of my own life.
