Feelings of admiration are mutual. Bravery and honesty are a derivative of integrity and dignity. Your fights over violence, Officer Cook, helped Dade County to overcome adversity and it will be forever tragic your life was ended by a callous and senseless man who looked to destroy society. Your humble resolve and actions factored into why our community, yours too, Officer Cook, is a little bit safer though less since your humane and heroic actions of devotion and reliability. Conviction, commitment to morals and scruples and your outstanding character helped to somewhat diffuse a dynamically perilous situation. A Godsend who brought assurance and hope to humanity what was enriched by your undying deeds of civility. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.
