My grandpa which was your Uncle was also HPD Motor cycle Officer George L Medeiros Sr. My grandpa was a heavy weight fighter as well, He survived a horrible accident when my my mom was a child chasing someone on the old Pali Rd. He refused to let go and survived this which no one comprehends! Thank you for your service and I am sorry I never got to know you! My moms first husband was also a motor cycle Officer Mellvile Vida. So yes the HPD motor cycle officers mean alot to me and I am proud to be a part of your Ohana! Moms there with you and I hope you all have a wonderful time! Aloha wau i'a oe Leah- Oh and I would never refer to him as Frank it would be my uncle because of his age and we growing up in Hawaii refer to our parents cousins as Uncle and aunty!
