He and I were very close and used our experience as MPI to close many investigations. Jim attended CID school at Fort McClellan the same time I attended MPI school enroute to Germany. Jim was assigned to the Rhineberg CID office at the same time I was assigned to the Bad Kreuznach field office of 42nd MP Customs as NCOIC.
