Lieutenant Masi died from injuries received in an automobile accident that occurred on January 18th. Lieutenant Masi was directing traffic on McCartney Road near Moore Avenue. He was directing a tow truck where cars were parked illegally. The driver of the vehicle that struck him was convicted of reckless driving.
He was survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters.
