No charges were filed against the group of drunk teenagers.

Officer Trail had served with the Beloit Police Department for two months and previously served with the Atwood Police Department and Colby Police Department. He is survived by his mother, father, sister, and two brothers.

I am currently at the KLETC for basic training and had the privilege to read Daniel’s information and what I knew about the incident to my class on Peace Officers Memorial Day. It was an honor to share his courageous act of selflessness to my class and to work at the same department as him.
