John, we started our police careers together in Milwaukee Police Academy class 2-78, you sat in front of me for the 4 months of training. Your watch ended tragically before Christmas 1981 leaving behind a wife and young child. I am nearing the end of my career, 40 years in. Some of us have been lucky, you are still remembered brother.
