I am a great granddaughter of Officer Charles Lucy. My family and I were in Beacon this week..we stopped at the Police Station and were greeted with respect by two members (unfortunately, I did not get their names) who showed us the memorial picture and news article on my great grandfather...and helped us locate the Cemetery where he is buried with my great grandmother.
I cannot thank them both enough for making us feel welcome.
Next year will be the 100th Anniversary of his death..some of our family members are hoping to come up to honor him...
Beacon Police Dept....Thank you again for making us feel welcome..
