William J. Luce

Police Officer William Luce died from cancer which he contracted after being exposed to radiation while on duty.

He was testing different rifles when a scope on one of them exploded, exposing him to radiation.

Officer Luce was a Vietnam War veteran. He was survived by his wife and six children.

On today, the 30th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served during the Vietnam War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
