View all 10 ReflectionsI would like to update the public on new and detailed information I discovered about my great-great uncle Juan Lopez Jimenez. According to his death certificate, this is the correct date of death: May16, 1904 at 8:30 pm in the police station house in Vega Alta. He was apparently taken there after the confrontation. He was 32 years old. His wife Placida Cabra Muniz passed away (cause unknown) before he was killed. As a result of this tragedy, their minor child, Mercedes Jimenez Cabra, was then raised by her paternal grandmother Maria Jimenez Hernandez.
