James N. Littlepage

Chief Littlepage was shot and killed while trying to stop a man who had just murdered two women with a shotgun and was on a shooting spree in town. As Chief Littlepage cut off the suspect's escape he was shot twice in the abdomen. The suspect fled to a house where he killed another citizen before committing suicide.

I heard stories of my Grandfather talking about a Uncle he had in Law Enforcement, I never knew your name or that you were a Police Officer in Austin, until I moved here. You were a true hero, and I hope I can do honor to the name we share.
