Michael Joseph Lebedda

Patrolman Michael Lebedda was shot and killed by two men he was attempting to arrest on the Braddock Bridge at approximately 10:00 pm.

He was searching one of the subjects when the second man pulled out a revolver and shot him several times. Both men fled towards Braddock.

Patrolman Lebedda was taken to Braddock General Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds six hours later.

Patrolman Lebedda was survived by his parents and eight siblings.
