Border Patrol Agent Luis Santiago died after falling 120-feet to the base of the Lower Otay Reservoir dam during a foot pursuit of illegal immigrants in San Diego County, California.
He and several other agents were chasing the group at approximately 12:30 am when he slipped on loose rocks and fell.
Agent Santiago was a U.S. Navy veteran and had served with the United States Border Patrol for 10 months. He is survived by mother and eight siblings.
