Lawrence A. "Frank" Kush, Jr.
Correctional Officer Lawrence Kush was murdered by three inmates at the Stateville Correctional Center.
Two of the inmates were sentenced to life in prison for the murder and the other inmate died while awaiting trial.
Correctional Officer Kush had served with the Illinois Department of Corrections for two years. He was survived by his wife and two daughters.
