View all 10 ReflectionsThrough the years my mother, your daughter, has told us, your grandchildren, your story. How brave and strong you were. How you loved and cared for your family. And how proud you were to be a Milwaukee Police Officer. You gave your life to apprehend criminals in order to keep our city safe.
Your pictures reside on my fireplace mantle and I know you keep watch over your family.
Every spring I plant flowers at your gravesite and visit your resting place every week all summer long.
I wish I had known you other than through my mom’s stories of your heroism.
I thank you for your service to the city of Milwaukee and especially your love of your family.
