Bill Knight was married to a cousin of my grandmother. Lola was like an aunt to me. She grieved for Bill until she died; she never remarried, would become teary when she spoke of him. My mother spoke highly of Bill, said he was one of the nicest people she had known. God bless all of our police. This “ defund the police” movement is the epitome of idiocy.
