My Dearest Tony,

It's been 23 years today that the coward Battle took a hammer and caused you great harm. I was there when they carried you out of the institution. I was there at Grady Memorial Hospital when your parents arrived. I was there when we said take your rest, your death would not be in vain. I was there when the jury convicted the coward and he was sentenced to die (yet to be carried out). I will be there when that day does comes also. Although it's been 23 long years, the pain is as fresh as if were yesterday. You left your mark on USP Atlanta, the FBOP and my heart. The Ultimate Sacrifice. Rest in Peace my brother.
