I was there when Phillip Curry was hired and worked with him as an officer. I was then moved up to Internal Affairs Investigator. I was there when Phillip passed away. I traveled with him from the prison to the hospital in the ambulance. I was there when he announced deceased at the hospital. It was heartbreaking to see a fellow co-worker die like he did.

My heart goes out to his family. I will always remember him as a nice and kind officer when I worked with him as an officer.
