To Jeff Parola.

24 years have passed and we still think of you often. You made me laugh so much the Friday before your accident. I stopped in to visit you at your home in Winslow. You proceeded to show me how you taught your dog Max to be a drug dog...I remember thinking how much of a good friend you were to everyone. You were so committed to Law enforcement...and your talk of becoming a had big dreams. I will never forget the call from our neighbors Bob and Joyce Williams at 4 AM telling me of the accident. Nancy and I were both in shock that this could happen to you...your whole life in front of and Shelly talking about a family together....I still carry the sweatshirt with your badge # on the front. Often when i return to Waterville to visit family i get off the Sidney exit and stop at the site of the accident and still ask why? I will never forget your smile, your laughter, your friendship, and your love for life and everyone in it.
God Bless you Jeff
