View all 13 ReflectionsRon….50 years ago tonight as a new mother I was putting my son down to bed when my husband came home and gave me the news of your accident. I lost a childhood friend that night as well as a former English teacher in Dick Lura. Memories came flooding back of horse back riding at your “ranch”, ice skating and forever games of “crack the whip” at the “clayhole”! Dick, you were a great English teacher! You both loved working for the CCSO! I started in January 1979…It would have been great working with you two! Rest in peace my friends. EOW 11/28/73 Pam R
