Michael Lloyd Rector

Special Agent Michael Rector was shot and killed as he stood in his driveway by his brother-in-law. The 48-year-old suspect discovered that Agent Rector had informed the FBI that he was stealing cars and selling them to a "chop shop".

The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to life.

Special Agent Rector was a U.S Navy veteran of the Vietnam war.
