Officer Jordan was stabbed to death when he and his partner responded to a domestic dispute call. While talking with the male suspect the man was able to pull out a knife and stabbed him.

The suspect was convicted of Officer Jordan's murder and sentenced to 10 years.

Officer Jordan had been with the agency for four years.

My self and Ed Laudermilk were the second or third car on the scene, the perp, was handcuffed and placed in our vehicle, we transported him to the second floor of the Ben West building. Earlier that shift at roll call Curtis was as cheerful and talkative as ever, a very positive officer to be around.
