Today, my mind went back to that day we were told you had gone to be with the Lord. I was just 11 years old but my heart broke when I heard the story. You were such a great man, Brother Jernigan and my life was a better place for having known you and your family. Our Church, Bible Baptist Church, had a piece missing after that, but you will never be forgotten. Thank You for your endless service.
