I remember the first time I heard the Beatles was at your house, and later you gave me your 45 of George Harrison singing "My Sweet Lord" - I still have it, and I always remember who gave it to me.

It's been many years, and I was so young when you left us. But I still remember you and your laugh, and your booming voice while all of us kids were outside playing. And the UFO stories! Sean told those stories very well, I have a feeling he learned that from you.

I read Tim's note to you and started to cry - we had such a magical childhood, always felt safe with you in our neighborhood.

I didn't fully understand your death back then, but now I understand. Thank you for always making me feel safe, and doing the same for the entire city. You are not forgotten, especially not by my 11 year old self.
