Frederick H. Hull

Police Officer Frederick Hull was shot and killed after responding to a report of an assault at a local tavern.

The suspect locked himself in a restroom when they attempted to question him about the assault. Officer Hull and his partner ordered the man out but the man began firing a handgun through the door of the restroom, killing Officer Hull and wounding his partner. His partner was able to return fire killing the suspect.

Officer Hull had served with the Seattle Police Department for 18 years.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 66th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
