George reflected the humanity of the police officers who served in the HPPD when I was a kid growing up in Harrington Park in the 50's and 60's . He was from the Henny Block school. George was a member of the community and his life was intertwined with those of its inhabitants. So he treated his fellow residents with dignity and respect, and in turn he earned their respect and admiration. We miss him and hold him up as example to be followed by all.
