View all 26 ReflectionsTo my cousin and Brother in Blue. This week was my first experience representing my agency as an honor guard member at the annual Texas Police Officer Memorial ceremony in Austin. I was overcome with emotions by what the ceremony meant, and even more emotions after seeing your name on the memorial wall. Gone but never forgotten. I will carry you in my thoughts and prayers as I try to continue your legacy of serving and protecting the community. Rest easy brother. We have the watch from here.
