Clay Quincy Haywood

Officer Haywood was killed in a motorcycle accident when a pickup truck turned in front of him, causing a collision. Other officers rushed him to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officer Haywood had been with the agency for four years and was a motorcycle officer for two of those. He was survived by his wife and two young sons.

On today, the 50th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served with the USAF during the Vietnam War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
