I was a senior in high school and remember officer Feldner on a couple of occasions would ask me if I could help him translate between him and a couple of Hispanics who did not speak English. Officer Feldner was always very respectful when dealing with the Hispanic community. All my Spanish speaking friends really liked him. I remember one occasion when I was young and really dumb, I had a few too many beers at a friends house, and been the moron that I was back then, decided it was a good idea to drive home drunk. To my good fortune office Feldner pulled me over, came to the window and immediately recognized who I was. He asked if I had been drinking, and of course I admitted I had. At that point I was crapping my pants cause I thought for sure I would be spending the night at the county jail, and have to apy a huge fine that I most likely could not afford. Instead He asked me to park the car at the Highschool parking lot and so I did, then he gave me a ride home. When I heard He had been killed by some teenage punk I was shocked and in disbelive, He looked after me that day, and I'll will always remember and be greatfull to him for that.
