Lewis Steve Hall

Officer Lewis Hall was shot and killed while executing a search warrant at a local residence.

The subject who shot him in the heart and lung was arrested and subsequently convicted of murder.

Officer Hall, who had also served within the U.S. military, was with the Port Arthur Police Department for four years. He is survived by his wife.

I was Steve's neighbor when we were young boys...I remember Jogging with him getting ready for Football Season, camping out in his back yard.
Steve was A man when we were 15yrs. or so, he didnt act silly like we did but he was fun..an then I worked with his dad at Texaco for years..
Steve and I never saw much of each other after He Graduated, he was A class ahead of me..When I herd of his death, it was like the world stopped..I Cryed so hard, then the memories came flooding back..You've herd of Special People well I don't use that word often but Steve was very Spacial..God Bless his family..Mike Calais , Port Acres Tex.
