Chris, it's been almost 28 years now since that overwhelming day your father was taken. We were in forth grade at that time when my best friend wasn't in class for weeks. It was hard to understand for me at the time and now I think how hard it was for you. I think about you, Lindsay and your mom at the most awkward moments. Toy section for my kids, Legos. Buying a gun, Brady Bill, your mother worked so hard for. Florence court house, I tell the story of how your father Rick was such a great man to whomever will or will not listen in the elevator every few months for over twenty some odd years now. I'm not much into the internet and don't have Facebook, twitter, etc. My daughter's best friend lives in your old house two doors down from where my parents still live. I hope you read this as I've been trying to get in touch with you for countless years. Your friend Jeff Hiers.
