Deputy Sheriff Jack Frame was killed following an automobile crash during a high-speed pursuit of a reported stolen vehicle.
Another vehicle driven by an unlicensed teenager pulled into the path of his patrol car at 2:30 pm at the intersection of Centerville Road and College Corner Road. Three juveniles in the car that caused the crash were also killed.
Deputy Frame had served with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office for five years. He was survived by his wife, parents, and brother.
