Edwin J. Fisher

Officer Fisher was stabbed to death when he confronted an inmate in the prison's boiler room. The suspect stabbed Officer Fisher using a knife he had stolen from the prison's kitchen.

The suspect immediately surrendered to other officers and was sentenced to life in prison.

Officer Fisher was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was survived by his wife.
