Harry Ray Farrell

Officer Harry Farrell was shot and killed in a gunbattle with a subject in an alley near Second and Alabama streets. The subject, who was shot and killed by Officer Farrell, was suspected of an armed robbery at an automotive service station. After being shot, Officer Farrell was removed to Saint Elizabeth Hospital where he died from his wounds.

Officer Farrell had served with the Lafayette Police Department for one year.
