Walter D. Davis

Police Officer Walter Davis was killed when his patrol car was involved in an automobile crash on Harford Road near Montebello Terrace at 5:07 a.m.

The lights on the traffic pylons were not working, and his patrol car struck a pylon on the roadway. He passed away at Union Memorial Hospital.

Officer Davis was a United States Naval Reserve WWII veteran and had served with the Baltimore City Police Department for two years. He was survived by his wife, two daughters,
