View all 9 ReflectionsI am honored to carry your name, Uncle Eliot, having been the son of your brother who with my mother chose to name me Eliot Daley in fond tribute to you when you were just twenty years old. I am now eighty-eight, having been given the gift of sixty-two more years than you, and thinking often about what your life might have been had you not fallen in the line of duty. I wish I had known you, Uncle Eliot. Rest in peace, now and forever.
