Thomas Wayne Daughdrill, Sr.

Investigator Thomas Daughdrill was shot and killed while responding to a burglary call.

While Searching for the burglary suspect, Investigator Daughdrill and another officer took shelter from a rain squall in an old barn during Hurricane Andrew. The suspect was hiding behind them in the barn and opened fire with a shotgun, wounding the officer and killing Investigator Daughdrill.

Investigator Daughdrill had served with the agency for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.
