A terrible tragedy where your assailants may have escaped justice through the technicalities of a flawed justice system that favors the defendants, but they will surely face a higher authority and justice at a later time. Rest in peace always knowing that your heroic actions and sacrifice will always be remembered by your law enforcement brethren.
