I saw a post on Twitter from @Arizona_DPS and was saddened and touched to learn of Officer Cochran. I even found what I believe is his roadside memorial on Google street view. I want Officer Cochran to know that we still remember you, even those of us born some 25 years after your death as I am. I want to thank you for your service and sacrifice. RIP Officer Cochran. I'd like to extend my dearest apologies for what happened to your family. Drunk driving has no place on our roads then or now. May the drunk driver also RIP. I'm sure you two have made amends. I'm sure he wishes he had made a better choice. Let this remind people thinking of driving under the influence today that you can harm yourself and others. Perhaps it will save a life.
