Sheriff Charles R. Smith served a distinguished army career in the US Army Special Forces. He was a combat veteran and served on my A-Team. He was so proud to serve as Sheriff and was on his second tour. He loved the people of his county regardless of their station in life. He loved his family. He will always be in my heart.
