I shall never forget my early AM response to this shooting. I assumed command of the manhunt that led to the arrest of your and the other officer’s shooting death, an intense multi-agency response. I shall also never forget not immediately removing you from your position in the street as we had no idea where your killer was and if he was finished with his rampage. God bless you and keep you within his reach for eternity.
