Deputy Moore, though we never met, I feel as though I knew you. I researched your murder, visited your shooting area and visited your grave. I read the interviews of your sheriff and community peers. I find we were a lot alike. Thank you for being such a good, respectable Deputy Sheriff. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice attempting to better your community.
It takes a special person to lay down his life for his community. Rest in Peace Deputy.
You, sir, will never be forgotten.
