George R. Johnson

Constable George Johnson suffered a fatal heart attack while attempting to break up a fight at a farm five miles southwest of Water Valley.

A dance was being held at the farm when several boys began to fight. Constable Johnson was attempting to separate the boys when he suddenly collapsed.

Constable Johnson was the constable of Beat 3. He was survived by his wife and nine children.
