As your anniversary approaches I continue to think about you daily. I made it to National Police Week and as I visited my friend who was killed in the line of duty and eight officers my team has laid to arrest, I made my way to your name.
It was honestly the hardest of all the names to visit. My son is now 3rd generation law enforcement and he was able to share the moment with me.
I am still glad we learned what happened on that day from your brother and have come to terms with what haunted me for 30 years.
I hope that god has brought comfort to your family and that you are at peace.
Never Forgotten!
