Michael J. Bushman

Patrolman Michael Bushman was killed in a single-vehicle crash when his patrol car rolled over several times on Paradise Valley Road east of Munda Road at about 2:10 am.

Responding officers located his body lying next to his patrol car several hours after the accident. It is not known what caused the accident.

Patrolman Bushman was a United States Air Force veteran and had served with the San Diego Police Department for 16 months. He was survived by his wife and daughter.
