Conservation Officer Raymond Birdsong was killed in a head-on vehicle crash on Route 453, approximately one-half mile north of Grand Rivers, Kentucky.
Officer Birdsong was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and served with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources for eight years. He was survived by his wife, daughter, two sons, father, two sisters, four brothers, and two grandchildren.
